Sydney

From there it was only a matter of days before we got back to Sydney. Unfortunately weather got much worse during the end of the trip and on our last day we even managed to get 1 cm of water in front of our exit of the tent (inside the tent that is!!!). What an end to an amazing trip! And there I was: back in my beloved Sydney again! And of course the best place to stand in Sydney is at Circular Quay, with on your right side the famour Opera House and on your left hand side the amazing Sydney Harbour Bridge. Ah and had I already mentioned this? I even climbed the Harbour Bridge as a birthday present to myself :D They even sang happy birthday for me once we reached the top! Now what can a girl ask for more than that????
In case you hadn’realised it, most of Australia’s highways still consist of two lanes and it is only around the bigger cities that you get four lanes or once you are unfortunate enough to reach the Gold Coast (I absolutely hate Surfer’s Paradise with its high rise). Also, Australians love their meat pies :) Anddddddddddd, they love to build big things on the side of the road. Along our trip we have come across Larry the Lobster - a 56 feet high lobster -, the Big Banana, the Big Pineapple, the Giant Prawn, the Giant Shrimp, the Giant Gum Boot, the Big Galah, the Naked Aboriginal and many many more. It is almost worth a trip around Oz just to visit all these big objects which are scattered all arcross the Australian landscape.
